Charity Status

The Village Hall holds charity status and it's purpose, as noted in its constitution

"As set out in the Trust Deed and to hold and maintain the Village Hall as an amenity for the benefit of the local community, and to organise and encourage social and recreational events for the enjoyment of community members. To raise funds for the maintenance of the Hall and the ongoing stability and investment needs of the village pub".

In addition to raising money through hall hire, etc., we encourage people to shop through the EasyFundraising website https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk. Over 3000 well know online high street retailers donate anything from 0.25% to 5% on every purchase to the cause.
