About the Hall

Yarnscombe is a small village and parish in the Torridge area of Devon, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8 km) from Great Torrington and 8 miles (13 km) from Barnstaple.

In 1995 a site for a new Village Hall was purchased. This was completed and opened in 1996 and is now a popular centre for village recreation.

In the heart of the village is St Andrew's Church with its history dating back to the Norman period.

The hall has a capacity of 120 people seated, 250 standing and parking for 60 vehicles. The bar, 50 - 60 people, meeting room, 20 - 30 people and the kitchen has a capacity of 200 settings.
